The first buggies began to be created in the middle of the last century - they were built from inexpensive Volkswagen Beetle and Bug cars (by the way, the name of this class of cars (buggy) is a diminutive form of the English word bug (English “bug”),
Now Volkswagen, probably, decided to recall its contribution to the creation of this class of cars and developed a fully electric beach buggy. VW has already shown teasers of a concept built on the MEB modular platform, which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show. According to the company, the concept car was created based on old cars that were created in the 1960s in California.

Little is known about the concept at the moment. The presentation, as noted above, will be held at the Geneva Motor Show in March of this year.
