Tesla unofficially breaks Porsche Taycan record at Nurburgring

According to the AutoEvolution portal, its photographers attended test rides of prototypes of the updated Tesla Model S, equipped, in particular, with a new Plaid power plant with three electric motors (according to the Mask, this power plant will arrive in production in about a year), at the Nurburgring. It is indicated that during the most successful race, the modified Model S was able to drive a circle in 7 minutes 23 seconds, which is 19 seconds faster than the Porsche Taycan record - a record for four-door electric vehicles, set in August this year.

Of course, while this is not an official result, but only the result in the framework of test races. Earlier it was reported about another record of the prototype Model S with a Plaid powerplant, also not official, on the California Laguna Seca highway.
