How did you shoot the video about accelerating the Bugatti to 400 km / h?
Usually, another car with an operator in the trunk is used to shoot videos with cars. For example, Top Gear used a Range Rover due to its smooth ride and a two-piece trunk lid. It is convenient, but there is one problem - it cannot accelerate to 400 km / h. A Bugatti Chiron can, and in just 32.6 seconds. To catapult to 100 km / h, the hypercar needs only 2.4 seconds, it overcomes the mark of 200 km / h in 6.5 seconds, and 300 km / h in 13.6 seconds.
But how to capture this on video? Of course, you just need to take ... another Chiron! All that was needed was to develop a special bracket for the camcorder, because standard suction cups were powerless at that speed. It is a pity, however, that this ingenious design was left overs. Acceleration to 400 km / h followed by a stop required a 3.1-kilometer stretch of road, while braking took 9.3 seconds. At the wheel was a former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya.
